the location was grand. it was full of historic wonder. the staff were fabulous! they were down to earth and friendly. i especially liked the ground floor suite they sorted for me. evening meal and breakfast had a big choice.

i thought the pool was a little cold.

The gardens were very well kept. I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace. i also used the pool, steam room, and sauna. it was convenient to walk into town and i found the grounds to be beautiful.

i would have appreciated a wider selection of walking showers.
